Everything you ever wanted to know about SandyBlue villa holidays in the Algarve
You found your perfect holiday home, you’ve booked the dates you want and you are ready to go….perhaps you have a few questions?
1. What’s included in my SandyBlue holiday?
Generally our villas and apartments include lots of free extras such as wi-fi, air conditioning, cable TV, BBQ…A lovely welcome basket packed with essentials and important things like wine and biscuits is also included so that no matter what time you arrive at your holiday home you have something to eat and drink. We provide beach towels for each member of your group as well as a handy waterproof zip bag you can bring to the beach, keep your phone and change in – and take home with you. Maid service is included and our team is on hand to share our local knowledge about the best restaurants, things to do and beaches to visit during your stay. Feel free to come and visit us at our lovely Almancil office.
And sunshine…..that’s a free extra, available to all while stocks last.
2. What’s not included?
Your flights to Portugal are not included in the rental of your holiday villa, nor are the transfers from Faro airport to the villa or apartment. We can arrange the transfers for you if you wish – just send us a request. Pool heating and pool fences can be arranged – extra charges apply. We can help arrange activities and car hire for you – but these are not included in the rental rate. We can also help make restaurant reservations for you or book golf Green Times.
3. Is there maid service?
Yes, all SandyBlue holiday rentals include maid service – you are on holidays after all! Each property has a different cleaning schedule. You’ll be informed when you book of the frequency of the maid service at your villa.
4. How do I find the villa if I am driving from Faro airport?
Don’t worry – we will send you complete and detailed driving directions should you decide to collect your hire car at Faro airport and drive to the villa.
5. What about my baby – is there a cot?
If you are travelling with a baby we can supply most of the baby equipment you will need such as cots, chairs, baby baths etc for an additional charge. Just indicate what you need on the booking form and we will ensure that everything is in place when you arrive.
6. Could we have a chef come and cook for us at the villa?
Of course! We can arrange in-villa catering with private chefs for breakfast, lunch or dinner, for the whole of your stay or just for a special occasion. Get in touch to let us know what you want and we’ll send you menus and make the arrangements.
7. Who looks after the swimming pool?
Your private sunny swimming pool is everyone’s favourite spot during your stay. There is regular maintenance to keep it fresh and clean. And you can use the pool net supplied to remove any debris that might be blown in.
8. How can we be sure you’re real?
