Casa Lavender is a welcoming, recently refurbished and nicely decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhouse that sleeps up to 5 (fifth person on a sofa bed) located in Vale do Lobo. Set in the well maintained gardens of this 5 star resort, Casa Lavender is close to the famed Tennis Centre, scene of epic matches between top tennis stars during the Vale do Lobo Tennis Championships Tour!

The living areas

Located on the first floor of the townhouse building, Casa Lavender is built over two floors. The entrance opens into the living and dining area with the newly refurbished kitchen to one side. The living room has plenty of natural light and is generous in size. The colour scheme is pleasing and there are comfortable sofas, a dining table for 6, an open fireplace, internet TV with UK TV channels, Wi-Fi.

There are doors leading from the living room to the terrace where there is ample space for outside dining and BBQ evenings. You can also enjoy the pool at the Tennis centre (charges apply).

The kitchen is well laid out to maximize space and light with a breakfast counter overlooking the dining and living area, with stone counter tops, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, fridge freezer and coffee machine.

The bedrooms

The first bedroom, which is up some steps from the living area, is a spacious room with twin beds and a good sized sofa which is a sofa bed. The room is bright and has built in wardrobes and air conditioning. The adjacent bathroom is attractive with lovely fittings and has a bath and shower.

Up the stairs is the second bedroom, also a twin room, also with built in wardrobes and air conditioning. This room has access to a private sun terrace which is prefect for those relaxing moments that make a holiday, and with lovely views across the resort. The adjacent bathroom has double sinks and a walk in shower.

About the area

The walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes walking along the calçada footpaths through the resort. It is an easy stroll, suitable for all ages and buggies.

It is only a 15 minute walk from the villa to the medical centre and mini market on the entrance roundabout or 15 minute walk to a cash machine, post office, newsagent, bank, hair dresser, spa, cafes etc. in Parque do Golfe. There are many more restaurants and bars are located at the Praca which is a 15 minute walk from the villa.

Casa Lavendar is very close to the two restaurants near the tennis centre. In the Praca there are numerous restaurants and bars – open all day and late into the evening. There is free live entertainment from May to September. Monty’s Bar and Restaurant is open all year round with evening entertainment. Enjoy watching the sunset over the beach & ocean from Breeze bar or Sandbanks.

Vale do Lobo is located on the beach area known as ‘Praia Vale do Lobo’, considered to be one of the finest beaches in the Algarve. From Vale do Lobo you can walk in an easterly direction to both "Praia do Ancao" and "Praia do Garrao" through the Parque Natural da Ria Formosa which is a heritage protected area of lagoons and wet areas that support the local wildlife population. If you walk towards the west you pass "Praia do Trafal" and "Praia do Almargem", following onto "Praia Forte Nouvo" and then onto the Quarteria stretch of beaches.
