Casa Courtside is set in a tranquil area of the much sought after Vale do Lobo resort. The 2 bedroom townhouse villa exudes a very welcoming ambience and entices you to really relax and enjoy your stay. All on the same level, the villa has superb views across the courts of the Vale do Lobo Tennis Centre where greats such as Bjorn Borg, Stefan Edberg, Henri Leconte, Mats Wilander and John McEnroe have participated in the Champions Tour!

The exterior

Built on an incline, although you enter Casa Courtside at street level, the rear of the terrace is elevated, ensuring privacy and great views. The side terrace, just off the living room has plenty of room for sunbeds and outside dining and offers lovely views across stands of pine trees and the tennis centre. By the plunge pool, there is a BBQ and outdoor dining area as well as sun loungers. The pool is 6 x 3m with a maximum depth 2m.

The living areas

Casa Courtside has an open plan living/dining area that is bright and spacious with views out to the plunge pool and terrace, with those lovely tall pine trees in the background. The living area has an open fireplace – not that you’re likely to need that during your stay, but it does add some ambience.

There are two matching sofas for comfy TV watching and with views out to the side terrace. There is Lazer TV with a range of international and UK channels and there is also wi-fi. The dining area is adjacent to the open plan wood kitchen with a stone counter top and a generous window giving great daylight and a sense of space, overlooking the side terrace. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster, oven, hob, microwave and kettle.

The bedrooms

The master bedroom at Casa Courtside is spacious with a comfortable décor and direct access to the terrace. The en-suite bathroom has separate bath and shower. The master bedroom has air conditioning (included in the price) and fitted wardrobes.

The twin bedroom is again a spacious room with fitted wardrobes and air conditioning (included in the price). The adjacent bathroom has a shower (with seating).

About the area

The walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes along the calçada footpaths through the resort. It is an easy stroll, suitable for all ages and buggies.

It is only a 15 minute walk from the villa to the medical centre and mini-market on the entrance roundabout or a 15 minute walk to a cash machine, post office, newsagent, bank, hair dresser, spa, cafes etc. in Parque do Golfe. There are many more restaurants and bars located at the Praca, which is a 15 minute walk from the villa.

Casa Courtside is very close to the two restaurants near the tennis centre. In the Praca there are numerous restaurants and bars – open all day and late into the evening. There is free live entertainment from May to September. Monty’s Bar and Restaurant is open all year round with evening entertainment. Enjoy watching the sunset over the beach & ocean from Breeze bar or Sandbanks.

Vale do Lobo is located on the beach area known as ‘Praia Vale do Lobo’, considered to be one of the finest beaches in the Algarve. From Vale do Lobo you can walk in a an easterly direction to both "Praia do Ancao" and "Praia do Garrao" through the Parque Natural da Ria Formosa which is a heritage protected area of lagoons and wet areas that support the local wildlife population. If you walk towards the west you pass "Praia do Trafal" and "Praia do Almargem", following onto "Praia Forte Novo" and then onto the Quarteria stretch of beaches.
