A welcoming villa, Summer Valley has been refurbished to offer 4 en-suite bedrooms, a large lounge and a generous terrace and pool (salted) area with private heatable pool, all on one level, making this villa wheelchair friendly.
The exterior
Outside at Villa Summer Valley, there is a spacious terrace area to enjoy life by the pool and some great alfresco dining. The pool is a generous size (8 x 4m, maximum depth 1m90) and there are several sunbeds to ensure comfortable, lazy hours working on that tan. The pool can be heated - charges apply.
There is plenty of space for outside dining with a gas BBQ to encourage your inner chef to break free during your stay. From the terrace, there are external stairs leading to the roof terrace with lovely views across Valverde and the surrounding countryside.
The living areas
Villa Summer Valley is located at the entrance to a cul de sac and built on one level with air conditioning throughout. There is a spacious lounge and dining area off the entrance hall. The lounge, which is air-conditioned (no extra charge), has comfortable sofas, a wide screen TV with Lazer TV offering international and UK channels and doors to lead to the terrace and pool.
The dining area is lovely with 3 feature windows providing decoration and natural light. The adjacent fully fitted kitchen is well equipped with hob, oven microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The bedrooms
All four bedrooms are en-suite at Villa Summer Valley, as well as air-conditioned (included in the price) and are beautifully decorated. The master bedroom, a double room, has a bathroom with walk-in shower and there are doors leading from the room to the terrace and pool. The three other bedrooms are all twin rooms with built in wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms, two with showers, one with bath.
About the area

The wonderful beaches for which the Algarve is justly famous are easily accessible from Villa Summer Valley – just a 5 minute drive to Quinta do Lago beach, Ancão and Garrão. You have several prestigious Algarve golf courses nearby too.
Facilities include a floodlit tennis courts centre and water sports centre. If you need a bit of retail therapy, a bite to eat or even a late night drink and dance, the’Q’ Quinta Shopping is at the entrance of the Resort. The Q Centre facilities include fabulous boutiques offering exclusive designer labels and interior designers showing off object d’art. In addition, there are some appetising international restaurants providing a choice of cuisines and lively bars like Cubo and The Melting Pot.
The objective in Quinta do Lago was to create a luxury estate offering owners and guests privacy, tranquillity and seclusion, combined with an active social and sporting life and a wide range of leisure and sporting facilities.
The environment at Quinta do Lago has UNESCO protection because of the 18 hectares of the Ria Formosa Natural Park which falls within Quinta Do Lago boundaries. The Ria Formosa is a tidal inlet that is a protected home of migratory birds and a wetland of world importance. The Quinta Do Lago / Ria Formosa is one of the last unspoilt coastal zones in Europe.
