Villa Planalto is a classically decorated 5 bedroom villa, located in a quiet area of Quinta do Lago, within 20 minutes' walking distance to Quinta Shopping, restaurants, bars and 10 minutes' walking distance to the golf club.
The exterior
Villa Planalto has a large swimming pool (6 X 12m) which can be heated (charges apply). There is plenty of space for relaxing in the sunshine or shade to enjoy alfresco meals cooked up on the gas BBQ.
The living areas
The villa is furnished to a high standard, with air conditioning throughout as well as Lazer TV, DVD, HiFi and Wi-Fi internet.
On entering the villa, you are welcomed by a large entrance hall with 2 staircases to the first floor. There is a spacious and comfortable lounge with fire place, with a great view and access to pool.
The spacious, fully fitted and equipped kitchen has an island in the centre, perfect for serving up those cocktails as well as a gas BBQ for outside summer meals.
The bedrooms
On the ground floor, there are 2 twin bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms/shower.
On the first floor you will find a spacious master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a private terrace that overlooks the pool area and the cascading pond. You will also find another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom/shower.
In the basement, there is a third double bedroom with en-suite shower and window to gardens as well as a fantastic games room with pool and ping-pong tables.

Facilities include a floodlit tennis courts centre, horse riding and water sports. If you need a bit of retail therapy or a bite to eat. You can even have a late night drink and dance. ’Q’ Quinta Shopping Centre is at the entrance of the Resort. The Q Centre facilities include fabulous boutiques offering exclusive designer labels and interior designers showing off object d’art. In addition, there are some appetising international restaurants providing a choice of cuisine and lively bars like Cubo and The Melting Pot.
The objective in Quinta do Lago was to create a luxury estate offering owners and guests privacy, tranquillity and seclusion, combined with an active social and sporting life and a wide range of leisure and sporting facilities.
The environment at Quinta do Lago has UNESCO protection because of the 18 hectares of the Ria Formosa Natural Park which falls within Quinta Do Lago boundaries. The Ria Formosa is a tidal inlet that is a protected home of migratory birds and a wetland of world importance. The Quinta Do Lago / Ria Formosa is one of the last unspoilt coastal zones in Europe.
