Villa Fantasia is a large 4 bedroom villa centrally located in Quinta do Lago on Avenida Ayrton Senna. Set on a large plot and backing onto one of Quinta do Lago’s prestigious golf courses, with air conditioning throughout (included in the price) and a heatable pool, Villa Fantasia is impressive before you even cross the threshold.
The exterior
Outside, Villa Fantasia maintains its high standards of comfort and luxury. The pool is large with a beautiful rose compass design at its base (10x 6 m, maximum depth 2m20). The pool can be heated, charges apply. There are comfortable outside sofas and pool loungers for pleasant hours spent lazing by the pool.
There are also pool side stone benches backed by wall murals. Just off the kitchen you have a spacious outside dining area with charcoal BBQ and seating for eight. To the side of the house, Villa Fantasia has its very own putting green. The garden is sizable with a path behind the pool area and backed by the golf course.
The living areas
Upon entering Villa Fantasia your eye is drawn upwards along the marble staircase to the domed, brick lined ceiling and central chandelier. The spacious entrance hall leads to a step down into the large open living room, a room that offers deep comfy sofas, an open fireplace, wide screen TV with Lazer TV - UK TV channels and several double door access to the gardens, terrace and pool.
There are some beautiful pieces of furniture in the living room and several individual decorative touches that add great character to the room. Some steps lead from the living room to an adjacent reading room / work area – which also has access to the outside dining terrace.
The kitchen is decorated in tones of ivory and has plenty of natural light. There is a circular table in the kitchen as well as a comfy sofa for a quick cooking break! The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped with hob, large oven, double sinks, American style fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and TV. There is a laundry room just off the kitchen with washing machine and dryer.
The bedrooms
There are two bedrooms, a twin and a double, on the ground floor, both air conditioned and both with access to the terrace and gardens. The double room has an en-suite shower room as does the twin room (which can also be prepared as a double). Both rooms have fitted wardrobes, air conditioning and TVs. The rooms are generously sized and have great natural light.
On the first floor, you have the master suite which is a very spacious double room with TV, air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, private terrace with great views as well as a large en-suite bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. The twin bedroom is also en-suite with a spacious shower room and natural light. The room has air conditioning, a TV and access to a private sun terrace.

The environment at Quinta do Lago has UNESCO protection because of the 18 hectares of the Ria Formosa Natural Park which falls within Quinta Do Lago boundaries. The Ria Formosa is a tidal inlet that is a protected home of migratory birds and a wetland of world importance. The Quinta Do Lago / Ria Formosa is one of the last unspoilt coastal zones in Europe.
