Villa Cascade is a stunning villa. From the moment you sweep through the gates you enter holiday mode where all you have to do is kick back, relax, unwind and have fun. The villa, aside from the luxurious comfort it offers, has every amenity possible to ensure a memorable SandyBlue holiday, from the small kiddies play area to the big kiddies games and cinema room.
Built in 2012, Villa Cascade is a very impressive 6 bedroom villa set just outside of Quinta do Lago resort. The gardens, secluded and spacious, are backed by stands of pine trees ensuring privacy and a backing track of birdsong. Let us show you around!
The exterior
As wonderful as the inside is, the outside at Villa Cascade is just as good. Not only do you have plenty of space for the children to run around, safe in the secure environment, there are very welcoming lounge areas for some quiet time and plenty of poolside loungers on the deck.
The pool is large and can be heated, charges apply. The outside dining area with BBQ is inviting, backed by a stone wall and with a large wooden table with ample seating for all. A cascading stream of water runs down the wall creating a cooling and relaxing ambience.
The living areas
Built over 3 levels, on the ground floor the main living room is comfortable with inviting sofas in muted colours, complementing the terracotta flooring. There is a large flat screen TV with UK and international channels, DVD and music system. There is access to the outside terraces and gardens as well as to the adjacent dining room which has a beautiful pale wood table that can accommodate up to 10 people. There is direct access to the BBQ area and kitchen from the dining room.
The kitchen is every chef's dream. It is equipped with quality appliances - oven, microwave, separate fridge and freezer, juicer, coffee maker, electric hob and dishwasher. There is also an American style breakfast table with high stools which is ideal for a quick snack.
The basement level at Villa Cascade is not your regular basement. It is home to a huge games room with natural light, where you can find a snooker table, Table Tennis , big flat screen TV with internet connection, a PlayStation 3, a toddler area (complete with a carpet with a small table and chairs, and with some toddler games), surround sound music system and DVD player. This is a huge room, away from the rest of the house, with its own music system and football table.
The bedrooms
There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor, all of which can be prepared as twin or double rooms. 2 of these rooms are en-suite with walk in showers, TV's and direct access to the terrace and gardens. The third room has a double sofa bed and en-suite bathroom.
Upstairs, there are two master suites and an extensive curved terrace. Each bedroom with its own private terrace area. One master suite can be prepared as a twin or double suite, and has a private dressing area, TV and an en-suite bathroom with Whirlpool bath that has a fantastic country view. The second master suite, again decorated in neutral and tranquil tones, features a TV and private dressing area and an en-suite bathroom. This suite also has a private terrace with 2 sun beds.
About the area

Facilities include a floodlit tennis courts centre, horse riding and water sports. If you need a bit of retail therapy or a bite to eat or even a late night drink and dance. ’Q’ Quinta Shopping is at the entrance of the Resort. The Q Centre facilities include fabulous boutiques offering exclusive designer labels and interior designers showing off object d’art. In addition there are some appetising international restaurants providing a choice of cuisines and the fun and lively bars of Cubo, The Cheeky Pup and The Melting Pot.
The objective in Quinta do Lago was to create a luxury estate offering owners and guests privacy, tranquillity and seclusion, combined with an active social and sporting life and a wide range of leisure and sporting facilities.
The environment at Quinta do Lago has UNESCO protection because of the 18 hectares of the Ria Formosa Natural Park which falls within the Quinta Do Lago boundaries. The Ria Formosa is a tidal inlet that is the protected home of migratory birds and a wetland of world importance. The Quinta Do Lago / Ria Formosa is one of the last unspoilt coastal zones in Europe.
