SandyBlue co-founder Joe runs the Marathon Des Sables

Could you imagine running the equivalent of six marathons...in the Sahara desert? If reading that alone has made you feel queasy, spare a thought for one of SandyBlue's co-owners, Joe Mountain. That's right - he will be tackling the Marathon Des Sables from March 25th to April 4th!

What is the Marathon Des Sables

Marathon Des Sables is regarded as the toughest foot race on Earth, held yearly in Morocco in the Sahara Desert. This race is equivalent to six marathons, covering a stretch of 250km over six days...it's no easy feat!

Joe's running mission

Joe is raising money for Farleigh Hospice, a fantastic place that helped Joe's mother in the final stages of her battle with cancer. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. The SandyBlue team know just how grateful Joe and his family are to Farleigh Hospice. Now, it's time to raise some money for a fantastic organisation!
