Villa Athena is a fabulous, detached, 3-bedroom villa in an outstanding location on the shores of Quinta do Lago lake. With amazing lake, ocean and golf views, this 3-bedroom villa, which sleeps 6, has a huge, sun-drenched poolside and garden. Outside living at it's very best!

The exterior

Located in Lakeside Village, Quinta do Lago, Villa Athena is in a very tranquil spot and has unbeatable views! The villa overlooks Quinta do Lago South course, and aside from the super golf views, there are views of both lakes, the dunes of the Ria Formosa natural park and the ocean. It's just a short stroll from the villa to the lakes and then onto the beach. The villa stands alone at the end of a cobbled cul-de-sac, so there is no passing traffic, not even on foot. Peace and privacy all around!

The villa is south-facing and bathes in glorious sunshine, all day long. There is a beautifully landscaped garden to the side of the villa and pool area, with access to pathways along the adopted land, leading towards the beach and lakes. The pool and sun terrace area is very spacious, with amazing panoramic views from every angle. The overflow pool is large, with integrated steps. There is an outside lounge and dining area with gas BBQ.

The living areas

Inside, Villa Athena is built over two levels and has a roof terrace. On the ground floor, the entrance hall leads to the open plan kitchen, dining and living area, with direct access to the pool and terrace.

This area has air conditioning and the living room, with steps from the kitchen area, has a wide screen TV with cable channels with a range of international and UK channels. There is also Wi-Fi throughout the villa. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. There is a guest WC on the ground floor.

The bedrooms

There are 3 bedrooms in total at Villa Athena. All the bedrooms are doubles, are en-suite and have air conditioning. One double bedroom is on the ground floor with TV and an en-suite bathroom with a step in shower.

The master suite is on the first floor and has a TV and DVD player, as well as an en-suite bathroom with separate bath and step in shower. There is another double room on the first floor, with an en-suite bathroom with a step in shower. The rooms on the first floor share a large sunny balcony that overlooks the pool and has those magnificient views.

The roof top terrace is perfect for early mornings, watching the sun rise across the gorgeous views.

Lakeside Village in Quinta do Lago is known for being lively and luxurious, with plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Bars, shops and restaurants (Casa do Lago, Os Arcos, The Shack Bar and others) are close by and so is Quinta do Lago beach!

There is a communal pool and tennis courts within the resort.

PLEASE NOTE

Due to building works near Villa Athena, some disturbance/noise is to be expected. The current project is due to complete before the end of December, 2024 with works typically taking place between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday (noisy works can only start at 10 am, all the precautionary measures will be observed to minimize the noise).

Building works in areas controlled by Loulé Council should stop temporarily in July and August. This applies to Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and the immediate surrounding areas.
